Seems a technical issue caused their phone system to hiccup, keeping members in California from getting help for hours. Ouch.
One way they could avoid that in future is by, well, modernizing around mobile devices (you know, apps) and not require people to call some phone number and wait (especially long in this case).
As for members, here’s a simple option: choose Urgent.ly. Why? No membership fees for starters, you can watch on your phone as help arrives and, for closers, no calling an anonymous phone bank hoping a technical glitch has not occurred.
