Heading Out in the Storm? Be Prepared!

Watching a blizzard unfold behind the glass of your widescreen TV, safe and warm in your living room with family, can be kind of exciting - especially with kids present. However if that glass is the windshield on your two-wheel drive Chevy, and those kids are getting nervous, suddenly things are very different.

However if that glass is the windshield on your two-wheel drive Chevy, and those kids are getting nervous, suddenly things are very different.

As a storm churns away along the East Coast, bringing a potentially epic snow/wind/surf wallop, we want to remind everyone it’s best (and in some places the law) to steer clear of all roads. Hunker down. Be patient. Relax.

But you knew that.

On the other hand, we realize this is simply not an option for many of you. That’s why we’d like to offer key information for anyone preparing to travel, or already out there… and a reminder that Urgent.ly’s partners will be working through the storm, doing their best to rescue what will likely be many scores of stranded motorists along the highways and byways of the Eastern seaboard.

And of course, make sure you have Urgent.ly on your phone before going anywhere:

Stay safe and we’ll see you on the other side.
