Today we’re announcing another step toward transforming the roadside assistance industry by opening access to our APIs!
Now, if you’re a developer, you can dovetail roadside help right into the flow of your product. Creating a travel app? Integrate tap-access to roadside help. Run a chain of auto repair shops? Build in the ability for customers to request on-demand tows to your shop. The opportunities are endless.
Our development lead and co-founder, Lokesh Kumar sums it up best:
“This is a major first step in our plan to engage the development community in creating imaginative and useful features based on the Urgent.ly platform,” he said. “We expect Urgent.ly’sAPIs to mature and expand, but today we are providing the basic tools fordevelopers to work with us on new and exciting products.”
Rick Robinson, Urgent.ly’s co-founder and product lead, adds that “our APIs will allow developers to simply empower customers to request, get and track roadside assistance while never leaving their site or app.“
Details of the APIs and how to get started are now available on our developer website located over here: http://developer.urgent.ly.
