Urgent.ly Selected to Join INFINITI LAB Smart Mobility in Singapore

Only Global Digital Roadside Assistance Platform Recognized As Technology Thought Leader

Urgent.ly, the only global digital roadside assistance platform, joins worldwide technology thought leaders this month as part of INFINITI LAB Smart Mobility Singapore. The program recognizes and connects innovative companies disrupting the automotive industry. Rick Robinson, Urgent.ly Co-founder and Senior Vice President of Product is representing Urgent.ly in Singapore.

The INFINITI LAB, a joint effort between INFINITI and Nest, and supported by the Singaporean Government’s Smart Nation Initiative, brings together automotive entrepreneurs to collaborate with industry experts. Urgent.ly and six other companies will spend eight weeks at INFINITI LAB Smart Mobility, tapping into INFINITI brand’s entrepreneurial spirit and Singapore’s climate of innovation.

Over 125 applicants representing 30 countries were vetted by a joint committee from INFINITI and Nest, from which seven companies were ultimately selected for the program. Urgent.ly joins BlueSignal, CarForce, KATSANA, Pantonium, RYDE, and Savari to challenge traditional automotive markets across the world through next-generation technology.

Participants in INFINITI LAB Smart Mobility Singapore spend eight weeks working with INFINITI, Nest, the seven chosen technology pioneers as well as venture capitalists, CEOs, innovators, and industry visionaries. The accelerator culminates in June with a presentation to a wider audience including potential partners and investors.

Rick Robinson, Co-Founder and SVP of Product, joins the program with an eye toward absorbing and adopting the latest global trends in automotive technological innovation that will benefit Urgent.ly partners, service providers, and consumers. “I’m always excited to dive into new technology especially when it helps inform future iterations of the Urgent.ly platform” said Robinson. “We’re always looking forward to improving the experience for each of Urgent.ly’s customers -- consumers, partners and service providers.

“Urgent.ly’s mission is to reinvent the roadside assistance market on a global scale,” said Chris Spanos, Co-founder and CEO of Urgent.ly “The opportunity to work with INFINITI Labs, Nest and the Singapore Smart Nation initiative to develop innovative solutions and expand the application of the Urgent.ly platform to new partners and additional markets in Asia is tremendously exciting.”

Urgent.ly is reimagining the roadside assistance experience to the benefit of premier global automotive, insurance, mapping, telecommunication, and parking brands as well as roadside assistance professionals and consumers. The Urgent.ly platform delivers the quickest, safest, and most innovative roadside assistance services and technology through its branded and white label products in the North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific regions.
