VELUXE Launches App to Deliver Health & Beauty On Demand

The “on-demand economy” continues to flourish this week as our DC neighbor and super-hostess/writer/insider Susanna Quinn (@susquinn) launches the answer to the question, “How can i get in shape and get gorgeous right-now-without-leaving-home?”

Joining other on-demanders in the Washington area like MunchQuick (and of course one of the first, Urgent.ly), VELUXE promises “beauty and fitness simplified” by letting VELUXE “make your busy lifestyle more manageable with our on-demand beauty and fitness app delivering professional hair, makeup, and personal training services right to your door!”

We think this is awesome – we’re all incredibly busy, without always finding time to squeeze in a yoga class or personal touch-up. Now we can sit back and wait for the gym and salon come to us. Some call it the democratization of luxury; we’ll just call it cool.
