New Money: The 12 D.C. Startups and Funds Raising Capital in October
Vienna, Virginia-based Urgent.ly, a leading digital roadside assistance platform, raised a $10 million Series B funding on Oct. 4 from American Tire Distributors, which is the largest tire distributor in the U.S., Verizon Ventures and Forte Ventures. Every month, Urgent.ly says that it manages tens of thousands of roadside assistance events through its platform, eliminating approximately 250,000+ calls that would’ve flooded call centers.
