Automotive lockout service includes the unlocking or opening of a locked car door and the retrieval of keys within the vehicle. Lockout service does not include the cutting or programming of new car keys, key duplication services, re-keying of a vehicle, lock replacement, or other automotive locksmith services.
- Enter the name and phone number of the customer receiving service. This will ensure they receive the updates and tracking link so they can be prepared to meet their service provider on site.
- Do not allow the Urgently website/web application to use your location. This will prompt the app to ask you to manually enter the location of the vehicle needing service (instead of automatically pinpointing your location). If Urgently automatically pinpoints your location, you can click the CHANGE button on the Service Details Confirmation screen to update the service location to the location of the customer and their vehicle.
- Double check with the customer that all details on the service confirmation screen are accurate prior to submitting.
- You can leave the service request screen open on your computer and check back periodically to see updates on the progress of the service event. (The customer will be the main point of contact throughout the service event and will receive real-time updates via text message and the tracking link delivered to their phone number, but this screen should mirror the tracking link the customer receives.)
